My first reaction is the Hilton nearer the centre of town, as the important bit is getting back from the filk to wherever people are staying, in the early hours of the morning. It would be nice to be near the other activities, but I think the getting home bit overrules it. Some people might be staying in the Moat House, but probably more in other places. In 95 as I remember the on-site hotel was reserved for convention staff (and disabled?)
